It was such a pleasure for me to do this last minute session with Amanda and Noah! Noah was a day away from being one month old, and he was so precious! He didn't cry once the entire time we worked away on capturing his newness. Such a well behaved little one! I was so excited to try out some new techniques and lighting that I picked up during a newborn retreat I took on January and I had a wonderful time meeting Amanda! Amanda I wish you all the best in motherhood! It is a truly exciting adventure and remember to enjoy every minute because it really does fly by way too fast!
Jake just turned one, and he was such a lucky little guy that he got to celebrate his first birthday in Jamaica! Amanda and Chris wanted to celebrate Jake's birthday with some cake smashing and once we got Jake to dig in, he was loving every bite!! Jake is such a happy little guy, with his adorable blue eyes. So much fun! Amanda and Chris I hope you enjoy these memories and photographs!

We were so lucky to travel back to Jamaica only 45 days after being there in December to attend another wedding! I had a wonderful time in the lush island of Jamaica for another week with my husband, and it wouldn't have been possible if Laura and Dave had not gotten married! Laura and Dave had been planning their destination wedding for quite a while now and I had the wonderful opportunity to candidly document the day for the beautiful couple! I wish them many years of love and happiness and I am very glad that they have become such great friends of ours! Included below is a snapshot of the day.
Hailey turned one just after Christmas, and it was time for her to dig into some cake now that she had reached this special birthday!! She looked so sweet in her pink tutu and her Minnie Mouse shirt with her matching smash cake cupcake! This session was truly a joy to do, as Hailey was full of excitement over the balloons and the cake!
Amy came over last week to have a quick session with some Christmas decorations and lights. I love the glow in these photos, and her two little girls are beyond precious! We then headed outside to get a few more shots with Amy jumping in some as well. I can't believe that it is Christmas eve already, but I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe and happy holiday and these cuties are sure to bring a smile to anyones face!
My family and I traveled to Jamaica for the first week of December to witness the wonderful union of Jessica and Rob. It was a wonderful setting on the Caribbean Sea on the north shore of Jamaica near Runaway Bay. I was able to take some wonderful candid shots of the couple and the family. Jessica and Rob make a beautiful couple and the bride was beaming as she walked down the aisle. It was gorgeous. We are still so happy that Jess invited us to take part in this great day in the sunny south!! I wish Jess and Rob many, many years of love and happiness!!
It was great to see Mallory and Chris right before the holidays to capture some family photos for them. Their halls were decked and we were able to use the decorations to our advantage. I always love Christmas lights. We also stepped outside to grab a few shots in their awesome backyard, and I even did my own decorating to one of the prints to cast some snow on the portrait. Since we have had such a warm December, sometimes you just have to make it happen I guess! As we lead up to the holiday season, I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating with your family and friends Mallory and Chris!
I have known Jessica for more than 10 years now! It is pretty crazy how fast time flies by. This year Jess and Graham had the wonderful addition to their family of their daughter. It was pretty chilly out but Jess and Graham braved the cold to have a quick session to remember these times when their daughter is young. Many of you may know the family name the Kings, and they were very gracious and allowed us to use their property to take these great photos, so thanks to them! Cherish this time Jess and Graham as your little one grows, because it really flies by way, way too fast!!
As the last of the fall leaves were falling to the ground I met Julie and her family to take some family photographs. I met Julie through our dancing daughters and she is one awesome dance mom! We had a surprisingly warm day and the sun was shining strong. It was a beautiful morning. What a gorgeous family! With this session, I was sad to say goodbye to the beauty of fall, and I am ready to welcome the frost of winter (hopefully?). I can't wait to take some photographs with snow on the ground.
